He angitūtanga: The opportunity

 

We are on the hunt for talented Planner to join our expanding Resource Consents Department. This role will develop your planning skills as you work on a variety of projects including comprehensive residential and commercial development in growth areas such as, Hobsonville, Westgate, Red Hills and Whenuapai, urban expansion and regeneration around Henderson, Massey and Te Atatu or sensitive rural and coastal development within the Waitakere Ranges. You will learn about the wider aspects of the consenting business in the rapidly growing North-West Auckland area and provide professional written and verbal advice to our customers ensuring applicants and affected parties are aware of their rights and responsibilities. 


 

He kōrero mōu: About you

 

You have a tertiary qualification in urban planning, resource management or in an associated discipline recognised by NZPI. You might have recently launched your career in planning, or you might have 1-3 years’ planning experience under your belt and be ready for a new challenge. You’ll be a strong written and spoken communicator, with exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills. You’ll also have the ability to problem solve whilst making robust and timely decisions.
