He angitūtanga: The opportunity
We are looking for a skilled operations and business improvement guru to lead the day to dayrunning of our busy Leisure Centre as an Operations Co-ordinator.

 

Whilst you will be an individual contributor, with your own projects, your main function will beguiding and supporting the Team Leaders.

 

You job duties include, but not limited to:

  • ensure the team is delivering a seamless service to our customers
  • ensure the centre is sufficiently staffed, trained, and set up forsuccess and positive outcomes
  • lead a coordianated approach to planning, budgeting, monitoring and delivery of learning and development activities
  • be key liaison with our supporting team and internal partners
  • Analyse, prepare, and organise reports, resources procurements and service requests

This is a full time, permanent position (40 hours), rostered over 7 days. So the ability to work early and late shifts, as well as weekends, is crucial in this role.


 

He kōrero mōu: About you
You will have :

  • strong multi-tasking and organisational skills and have experience leadingwork to identify opportunities to optimise rostering across a variety of teams
  • knowledge to monitor department budgets, manage centre assets & offerstrategic support within recruitment, training, and retention
  • confidence in producing audits and reporting to analyse and make suggestionsfor continuous improvement
  • experience dealing with a variety of internal stakeholders as yourcommunication skills and ability influence others will be paramount to your success in thisrole

In addition, to be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience leading a team or in coaching and mentoring operational leaders
  • 5+ years’ experience in operations management or equivalent
  • Minimum Level 5 NZQA qualification encompassing, business, operations management or similar. Level 7 NZQA qualification or above is preferred.
  • Experience using technology and digital applications, including Microsoft Office, Envibe or a similar Membership Management Software, SAP, Facebook, and Instagram.

Pay Rate: Starting 75-85k
