The opportunity has arisen to work as a Libraries & Council Services Assistant in the Helensville Library. This will require you to be flexible as you may need to work from other sites within the local board area (Rodney Local Board.)
Helensville Library is a busy community library serving a diverse and vibrant community. Our library whānau is focused on caring for each other, our community, and our environment. We are looking for a flexible all-rounder to join and contribute as part of a high-achieving, cohesive, and dynamic team. You will be supporting the team and contributing to the day-to-day running of the library. As this is a customer service role, you will be helping customers from all walks of life.
Many of our libraries are open 7 days a week so flexibility around working days, including weekends and late nights, is required. We are looking to fill a part time position working 34.5 hours per week.
Shifts below:
• Saturdays 08:30am to 13:30pm – 5 hours
• Monday/Tuesdays 08:45 to 17:15pm - 7.5 hours (includes a 60 minute meal break)
• Wednesday/Thursdays 08:45 to 17:00pm - 7.25 hours (includes a 60 minute meal break)

The band for this role is Band E, we expect to appoint the successful candidate at a salary of from $65,000 – $70,000 depending on skillset and experience.
