He angitūtanga: The opportunity

 

Te Manawa delivers an integrated service for customers to access library services, creative facilities, community programmes, bookable spaces and customer services all under one roof.

In this role you will have the opportunity to develop and deliver a range of Pasifika-centric library programmes and work closely with our Pasifika communities. In addition, you will also support the delivery of our regular library programmes for children and their whānau.  You will be an advocate for the Pasifika voice and develop key relationships in the Henderson Massey Pasifika community.

You’ll provide a level of customer service that is second to none.  You will proactively embrace current, new and emerging technology and support customers and staff to successfully use information resources and devices.

 

He kōrero mōu: About you

 

You are innovative, confident and willing to learn and ‘give it a go’. You are fluent in a Pasifika language and have an interest in designing new programmes to connect with our Pasifika community.

A collaborative team member, you’re willing to advocate internally for the needs and expectations of Pasifika as customers.  Excellent digital skills and strong attention to detail, with proven customer service experience, are all key skills and attributes that will set you up for success.

This is a fixed term opportunity until 26 January 2024, working 40 hours per week on a variable schedule. Te Manawa is open seven days a week so flexibility around working hours including evenings, weekends and public holidays is required.
