Located in the vibrant heart of Henderson, West Wave offers an array of activities for everyone. From thrilling hydro slides and diving pools to a relaxing steam room, sauna, hydrotherapy pool, and a 50m lap pool, we have something to suit every preference.
As our Lead Lifeguard, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our valued customers, making their experience truly exceptional.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide guidance and support in delivering aquatics-based programs.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of customers through general lifeguarding duties.
• Assist the Team Leader with day-to-day operations at the Centre.
We are currently hiring for two permanent full-time position, offering 40 hours per week. The shift schedule for this role is as follows:
Our Leisure Centre operates seven day per week , therefore flexibility and commitment to working weekdays, weekends and rostered hours are paramount.

Naturally, you will have a genuine passion for aquatics and enjoy sharing your knowledge and experience to enhance water safety. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will interact with customers and colleagues to deliver exceptional aquatic programs and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Joining our dynamic and enthusiastic team, you'll be a valuable team player with a flexible mindset, always willing to take the initiative to foster a positive safety culture.
To be considered for this role, you must hold a current First Aid Certificate and a Pool Lifeguard Practising Certificate. As our Centre operates seven days a week, reliability and commitment to working early, late, and weekend shifts are crucial.
