Here at Auckland Council Pools and Leisure Centre, our vision is for Auckland to be the most active city in the world and our Leisure Centre's play a fundamental part in helping us achieve this.

 

As a Facility Support Coordinator at West Wave Pool and Leisure Centre, you will focus on supporting our centre in day-to-day operations as well as future planning. You’ll spend your time dealing effectively with customer queries, proactively assisting where required, and sharing our story. Taking on exciting projects to create events, collaborating with new partners, and measuring our success will also be a strong component of this role. With ownership and accountability, you will thrive in this role by leading these projects and seeing them through to fruition, benefiting your peers and the wider community.

As part of supporting Auckland's largest leisure centre, you will be a team player who is adaptable, engaging, and ready to own this unique role. You will have a passion for working with people from all walks of life and a creative mind coupled with a can-do attitude.

  

Your personal commitment to providing a high quality of customer service along with your great attention to detail will make you an ideal candidate and of course, excellent time management and the ability to multi-task are essential. You will have experience booking and co-ordinating events, communicating across different teams, and managing client and customer relationships.

We currently have a fixed-term full-time role working 40 hours, rostered over 7 days, until 30th March 2022. The ability to work flexible hours including late nights, early mornings, and weekends is essential.
