He angitūtanga: The opportunity

 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Community Programming Digital Specialist to join the Te Manawa Community Programme Team as we embark on a journey into innovation with our wider community!

In this new role you’ll lead the way in the design and implementation of programmes that support community to connect, learn and master opportunities in the world using digital and creative tools. With strong industry networks and collaboration with community partners, service providers, and stakeholders, you will drive digital inclusion and innovation opportunities.

You will be focussed on meeting the needs of the underserved and bringing to life Te Manawa’s creative digital spaces and resources.

 

He kōrero mōu: About you

You will have proven experience and passion for designing and/or leading engaging programmes that empower people to learn and participate. You love all things digital and using old and new technology for innovative outcomes. You may be an avid gamer or animator or love creating things using anything from a crochet hook to a 3D printer. You will be capable, confident, and motivated to build industry and community networks and you will enable and support the co-design of digital programmes driven by and responsive to community needs.

As a senior member of the Community Programme team you will lead by example, champion health and safety and be willing to step in to resolve site issues where needed
