He angitūtanga: The opportunity

 

Auckland Council’s Parks & Community Service department has an opportunity for Holiday Park Assistant to join the Whangateau Holiday Park team in permanent full time role ranging from 32 hours - 40 hours

 

We are looking for a hands-on, friendly jack of all trades who can assist with the day-to-day operation of the Holiday Park. You’ll be working closely with an amazing collaborative team to ensure our guests’ have a positive and memorable experience with us.

 

You could expect to work on:

  • Welcoming guests, processing online and in-person bookings
  • General labour and garden maintenance, including lawn mowing
  • Cleaning accommodation units or the amenities building

 

He kōrero mōu: About you

 

We are seeking an enthusiastic, and customer focussed person to join our team. A friendly and helpful attitude, and the ability to act on your initiative is key.

 

The ideal applicant will have:

  • Come from a trades or maintenance background
  • Has administrative/reception experience
  • Flexibility to work rosters over a 7-day week including public holidays is required
  • Excellent communication & problem-solving skills

 

The Park is open 7 days a week including public and school holidays. You will be working 40 hours per week, rostered over 7 days. The role also assists in support across the portfolio of our other holiday parks as and when required. 

 

Whangateau Holiday Park is a tranquil waterfront Holiday Park ideal for family holidays. The park is situated on Whangateau Harbour, east of Warkworth and near Leigh in the Matakana Coast area. Further details about the park can be found on our website https://www.whangateauholidaypark.co.nz/
