He angitūtanga: The opportunity


Working in a unique waterfront setting at Whangateau Holiday Park, this role will see you working as part of a team to support with cleaning duties to ensure our guests have an unforgettable stay. You will be completing scheduled cleaning requirements as well as responding to customer cleaning requests, and will ensure that a high standard of facility and amenity cleanliness is maintained at all times. Some of your responsibilities will include cleaning accommodation, amenities, ablutions, common areas and the grounds, maintaining cleaning materials, highlighting any maintenance issues, and, where required, providing guests with friendly and consistent customer service.  


He kōrero mōu: About you


Ideally, you’ll have some previous experience in commercial or household cleaning. It goes without saying that you’ll be a naturally tidy and well-presented person. You’ll be comfortable working in a physical cleaning role, have excellent attention to detail and be adept at managing your time efficiently. As this role will see you interact with both fellow team members and guests, you will be able to relate to people at all levels and might have some previous experience in customer service.  You will take pride in your work and be committed to providing exceptional results for our guests.  You’ll also need to be flexible with working evenings, weekends and public/school holidays to help support the park over our busy periods.
