He angitūtanga: The opportunity
Auckland Council’s Parks & Community Facilities department is seeking permanent part time (20 hrs) for the Whangateau Holiday Park team.
The Park is open 7 days a week including public and school holidays, we are especially busy throughout the summer months so having the ability to work flexible hours, weekends, public holidays, and additional shifts is required.

We operate 24/7 and are currently seeking support for the following shift: Tuesday to Saturday 9:00am – 1:00pm.
As we head into our peak summer season, there may be opportunities for additional hours. We appreciate team members who can adjust to changing needs and contribute positively to our dynamic environment.

Day-to-day you could expect to work on:
- Cleaning cabins, units, and communal facilities
- Ensuring a positive experience for our guests
- Grounds and surrounds general maintenance
- Assisting with all other duties as required

We are seeking an enthusiastic, and customer focussed person to join our team. This is often a high-pressure role that without a doubt will keep you fit – you must be comfortable in a physically challenging role.
We will be looking for people who have:
- Cleaning & general maintenance experience (or the ability to learn quickly on the job)
- Great attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to commence work ASAP
- Class 1 Full drivers’ licence to operate parks vehicles is desirable
