The next Waiheke inorganic collection is due to begin in November and we are looking for experienced truck driver to help us with the collection on a Permanent Full-time based on the island.

You will be driving a fleet of modern trucks and be responsible for the safe collection of inorganic material from residents’ properties. 

An important component of the role will be separating recyclable material that can be reused, so experience in waste management, recycling and caring for our environment will be highly valued. 



He kōrero mōu:About you

To be part of our team, you will need to have a clean HT licence (at least Class 2) and enough local knowledge to know how to get around on Waiheke Island. You should be strong and fit as these positions involve lifting inorganic items. You will be an ambassador for the resource recovery service on Waiheke, ensuring we divert as much waste as possible from landfill. We are looking for people who are hard-working, courteous and take pride in their work. It is expected you will have experience in health and safety protocols.

The positions are Permanent Full-Time. We work a 40-hour week, Mondays to Sundays.
