Auckland Live is the leader in performing arts, culture, entertainment, and events in Auckland Tāmaki Makaurau, and is Aotearoa New Zealand’s largest performing arts platform. Auckland Conventions, Venues & Events facilitates and delivers exceptional events, including meetings, conferences, exhibitions, gala dinners, and awards ceremony from 10 to 3,000+ people.

 

We are seeking a dynamic Venue Services Administrator to be responsible for administrative support to the Venue & Event Operations department, focused predominantly on the Visitor Experience teams, and also including support to Venue Operations, Food and Beverage, and other teams as required.

 

You will be a central hub and owner for administration, information and support across these teams, providing support in an effective and timely manner and to the highest standard.

 

Key responsibilities will include:

 

  • Provide administrative support for the life cycle of employees, including recruitment, onboarding and termination.
  • Support for all training requirements, including maintaining records, updating skills matrix, and administering the learning management system.
  • Administrative support for Operations department, including providing general support for office requirements, overseeing the Lost Property process, raising purchase orders, and processing invoices.
  • Maintain the Admin Event Services inbox, replying and actioning in timely manner.
  • Contribute to development and maintenance of manuals, systems, policies and procedures across the Operations department.

This is a busy and varied role and will suit an experienced administrator who is capable of managing their workload in an efficient and effective manner. You will be able to manage multiple priorities, have excellent time management skills and be able to work to deadlines.

 

You will be excited to work in a flexible and collaborative culture, have the ability to manage and build relationships with staff of any age and background, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

 

You will be organised, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, and well-developed skills in Microsoft Office suite.
