We’re looking for a Technical Lead to provide strong technical direction across our Salesforce platform. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll guide design, support delivery teams, and ensure scalable, high quality solutions across a complex environment.

You’ll work closely with ART leadership, cross functional teams, vendors and stakeholders to ensure solutions are aligned, fit-for-purpose, and built to last.

You’re a seasoned Salesforce professional who enjoys being close to the technology while influencing direction and standards. You bring a balance of hands-on capability and leadership, with a focus on quality, continuous improvement, and team uplift.

In this role, you will:

  • Act as a technical authority, providing guidance and escalation support for complex challenges
  • Lead and contribute to technical design, ensuring scalable and maintainable solutions
  • Define and enforce Salesforce standards, coding practices and design patterns
  • Champion modern engineering practices including CI/CD, automation and DevOps
  • Coach and mentor engineers, building capability across the team
  • Work closely with stakeholders, vendors and delivery teams to ensure alignment and feasibility
  • Identify and manage technical risks including security, scalability and technical debt
  • Support production stability, performance and continuous improvement

 

Technical skills and experience

  • Strong hands-on experience with Apex, SOQL/SOSL, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce and Salesforce Flows
  • Experience with Salesforce integrations, APIs and platform limits
  • Solid understanding of data management, including data migration approaches and tooling
  • Experience with DevOps practices including Git, Salesforce DX, CI/CD and release management
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery environments
  • Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I/II preferred; architecture certifications advantageous)

Nice to have:

  • Exposure to Salesforce Public Sector Solutions, OmniScript, Marketing Cloud or Data Cloud
