We are looking for an engagement and communications specialist to join our Healthy Waters team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced and collaborative communicator to create and share messaging about exciting and innovative water projects that will impact Aucklanders, improving water quality and enabling growth in the city. 

In this role you would leverage, champion and protect the Healthy Waters brand! You will be developing and implementing creative and influential communications content and helping to grow our digital channels. You will also play a key role in supporting the engagement of stakeholders during consultations and events. 

You can expect to:
•    Develop and implement communications and engagement strategies,
•    Develop communications content for various channels, ensuring consistent application of the Healthy Waters brand, tone and style,
•    Organise and deliver project related stakeholder engagement events
•    Support the Customer & Communications Team Manager with communications and media responses.


Please note; this is a maternity cover to April 2022.

To be successful in this role you will have experience in a similar communications or community engagement position. Ideally, you’ve worked specifically on marketing and stakeholder strategy. 


A natural collaborator, we will value your strong relationship building and prioritisation skills as you’ll be working with a wide range of partners and stakeholders to achieve shared outcomes. You’re comfortable working in a collaborative and fast paced environment and have proven communication and presentation skills.
