Our aim is to get Auckland the most active city in the world. From sports leagues to preschool groups to school holiday activities, this is where it is all happening.
We have exciting opportunities for dedicated and fun-seeking people to join our dynamic team at the Manurewa Leisure Centre in this hands-on role that will require you to plan and deliver our Out of School Care (OSCAR) programme, holiday programme and to ensure the highest possible standards of Health and Safety are met.
You will also be required to develop, plan, and facilitate a variety of recreational programmes for the Papatoetoe community. These include working with different age groups, coordinating user groups and sports leagues, implementing new ideas, and continuously improving our standards to meet our community promise of "getting active your way".

Part of an energetic and proactive team, you are a keen team player with a flexible approach and an ability to use your initiative to assist in our innovative and exciting programmes.
The ideal applicants will be passionate about sports and recreation as well as possessing or working towards obtaining a relevant qualification within the field. You’ll also be a strong swimmer and be willing to upskill in this area. Previous basketball coaching and/or umpiring experience, and first aid qualification are preferred. A full, clean manual driver's licence is a bonus.

We have permanent part-time positions available working 15 hours per week. Reliability and commitment to working early, late, and weekend shifts is a must.
