He angitūtanga: The opportunity
Our Te Puke ō Tara Community Centre is a treasured community space and home to an exciting range of community programmes and events. The purpose of this role is to provide exceptional customer service and ensure our venues are safe, functional and welcoming places. We offer programmed and community-led activities as well as venue for hire spaces.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our passionate and friendly team. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Welcome every visitor and provide information and assistance to ensure the visitor experience is rewarding and enjoyable, enhancing their knowledge and understanding of the Auckland Council services.
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure venues are safe, functional and welcoming places.
- Support the operational management and performance of community facilities.
We are looking to fill a full-time permanent position that will primarily work Monday to Friday, with the possibility of occasional work outside these hours, including weekends and public holidays, if needed.

Salary: $58,000 - $64,000 (depending on skills and experience)
