He angitūtanga: The opportunity

Local boards are a key part of the Auckland Council shared governance and decision-making and have been at the forefront of the changes taking place across Auckland. We have a full time, permanent position supporting our  Otara-Papatoetoe Local Board. The role provides comprehensive PA support to the Chairperson of the local board. You will also provide support to local board members.  This position is the first point of contact for the local board’s constituents.

He kōrero mōu: About you

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic with a positive 'can do' attitude. This is a fast-paced, pivotal role, where you pride yourself on delivering high-quality support to the board and the community. You will have the ability to handle issues when they arise. This position has a variety and would suit someone looking for the next step in their administration career. Good attention to detail is required. You will need to have good computer literacy with Microsoft office programs. Experience with SAP would be a bonus! Customer focus is a must as you will be dealing with all different types of people.
