Are you passionate about creating safe, welcoming, and high-functioning community spaces? We’re looking for a proactive and customer-focused individual to join our team in a part-time, fixed-term role.
You'll play a key role in ensuring our venues are safe, well-equipped, and ready to support a wide range of classes, events, and community activities. From assisting with venue hire bookings and setting up spaces, to maintaining inventory and specialist equipment, your contribution will help deliver exceptional experiences to all our visitors.
You’ll be a key point of contact for both the public and our internal teams, so strong communication skills and the ability to support people with diverse needs are essential. You will be part of the Te Oro frontline team based in Glen Innes, working with your colleagues to maintain an excellent standard of service delivery to our community and venue clients.
This is a fixed-term, part-time position until January 30, 2026 offering 32 hours per week, rostered across Tuesday to Friday.

You’re a ‘people’ person with outstanding communication and relationship-building skills. You are ready to be part of a creative and dynamic team. You are ready to provide administration and customer services within an arts and culture facility. This role will be responsible for providing welcoming and efficient face to face customer services and care for visitors to the facility where you will undertake the required administrative functions for venue hire bookings to excellent standards.
You will be responsible for working collaboratively across council, agencies, stakeholders and local communities and ensure appropriate and relevant communications are managed consistently with all customers and visitors. You'll work alongside passionate colleagues helping to enhance the customer experience.

Target Salary: 62,840k/a depending on the skills and experience
