We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Community Programme Specialist to join our Ōtara-Papatoetoe local board team. Based at Te Puke ō Tara Community Centre, this full-time role (40 hours/week) involves creating and delivering engaging programmes that empower our diverse community. Occasionally, you'll need to work outside regular hours, including weekends.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Develop programmes that respond to the needs of the Ōtara-Papatoetoe community.
  • Build connections and partnerships to drive participation and site activation.
  • Support and empower local communities through innovative and impactful initiatives.

You’ll bring:

  • Experience in planning and delivering community programmes.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A commitment to te ao Māori.
  • Passion for working with a diverse community.

Salary Band F, we would be looking to appoint the successful applicant at a salary of between $73 - 86k, depending upon experience.
