He angitūtanga: The opportunity 

Hawkins Theatre in Papakura is on the lookout for exceptional Casual Ushers to help support our many events held at the venue, whether that is a screening of a latest release film, a local community group show, a Hawkins Youth Theatre Company production or a larger-scale touring production.

 

Duties include but are not limited to collecting & checking patron’s tickets, directing them to their allocated seats and ensuring the safety of patrons to the theatre. You may also be required to serve a variety of snacks & beverages in the licenced café/ bar and sell tickets through the Eventfinda Box Office system.

We are looking for exceptional casual ushers with great customer service skills to be the face of Hawkins Theatre. We strive to ensure customers have a memorable, enjoyable, and safe experience whilst attending events at the Hawkins Theatre.

 

We are looking for people with excellent time management, be computer savvy & able to learn new skills, able to fit into a tight-knit small team and can think on your feet in a moment’s notice. A flexible approach to working hours is a must. Shifts can be in the daytime, evenings, weekends and occasionally public holidays with a commitment to work the rostered hours required.
