Our Leisure Centres are more popular than ever, and as a Casual Team Member, you’ll have the opportunity to work across multiple roles within our Leisure centres. 

By taking on a casual role you will gain exposure to all our positions such as Customer Support, Recreation Assistant, Lifeguard, Fitness Instructor and more. You will have the opportunity to flex your hours up or down to suit your availability week-to-week.

 

As a casual team member, you will deliver an outstanding, safe, and diverse customer experience across our pool and leisure facilities and contribute to our goal to enable Aucklanders to Get Active Their Way.

 
 

He kōrero mōu: About you

 

Excellent communication skills, maturity, and reliability are key in this role as is being practically minded and using your initiative where required.

 

The ideal applicant will be passionate about sports and recreation as well as possessing or working towards obtaining a relevant qualification within the field.

 

Training for Lifeguard PLPC certification and First Aid Certificates can be arranged for you once hired.

We have multiple casual opportunities across 10* of our pool and leisure centres in varying functions. Our centres are open 7 days a week so flexibility will be crucial, with early morning shifts from 5:00 am and late shifts up to 10:00 pm as well as weekends and public holidays.

 

*Locations: Allan Brewster (Papatoetoe), Howick, Lloyd Elsmore, Moana-Nui-a-Kiwa (Mangere), Manurewa, Otara, Outdoor Experience (Otara), Pakuranga and Te Matariki Clendon and Lloyd Elsmore (Pakuranga)
