Our beautiful city of Tāmaki Makaurau is a peaceful haven for pet owners and pets alike. However, there may be times when this peace can be interrupted by a dog who needs some attention. You will be responding and resolving barking complaints received by our contact centre team.
On a daily basis, you will be in touch with dog owners to assist them in abating the noise made by their barking dog; with complainants to explain the difference between nuisance barking and normal dog behaviour, and act as a mediator between dog owners and complainants to come to a resolution.
He kōrero mōu: About you
Described as cool, calm, and confident, you're a skilled communicator with a background in customer services or mediation. You are also someone who can offer excellent and unbiased customer service to all parties, love animals, and enjoy finding solutions to difficult situations where someone's beloved pet is involved. Be the unbiased voice that helps mediate and resolve barking complaints. Knowledge of dog behaviours is highly regarded.
