He angitūtanga: The opportunity

 

In this role you will support the Head of Digital Products in developing and managing an effective delivery of initiatives and projects that are managed by Tātaki Auckland Unlimited Digital Services team.  You will lead, coach and mentor the BA team where you will ensure they have the right tools, knowledge, and resources available to be successful. This includes:

 

  • Support Tātaki Auckland Unlimited by providing quality Business Analysis services, acting as a trusted advisor, and advocating best practices and standards.
  • Be a subject matter expert and specialist, champion continuous improvement and improved experiences across all areas of Tātaki Auckland Unlimited.
  • Identify and build capabilities that help achieve short and long term organisational strategic goals.
  • Engage with end users and subject matter experts to identify, develop, document, validate and endorse the requirements of their business unit.
  • Participate in and / or facilitate relevant Agile ceremonies and rituals and proactively support the uplift of agile and lean practices.
  • Foster a culture of continuous service improvement.
  • Understand change management principles and ensure these are applied to all initiatives and projects.

 

 

 

He kōrero mōu: About you

 

You will have excellent communication and time management skills, including a high level of problem solving and decision-making skills, using professional judgement.  You will also bring:

 

  • Proven 10+ years’ experience in ICT Digital.
  • 7+ years’ experience in business analysis in digital products and working in complex organisation
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex cross-organisational projects involving multiple stakeholders, business units within a matrix organisational structure
  • Proven leadership capability
  • Solid understanding of and demonstrated experience in using Jira, Agile and Lean delivery methodologies.
  • Demonstrates prudent financial behaviour and understands the financial impact of the work we do.
