He angitūtanga: The opportunity


You will be working closely with your Project Management team and the Product Owners to ensure that all projects are prioritised, assessed for value, and scheduled on the Product Roadmaps.  This includes:


  • Assist with planning activities for the portfolio of projects, aligned with relevant organisational strategies, systems, and processes
  • Work with key stakeholders across the organisation to facilitate the co-design, implementation a of Tātaki Auckland Unlimited projects, systems, and processes
  • Stakeholders are engaged with at the right time with the right methods, ensuring they feel included in the design, delivery and embedding process.
  • Internal and external stakeholders are engaged, informed, relationships are effectively managed, the Project team at Tātaki Auckland Unlimited is valued and respected by peers and relevant stakeholders.
  • Establish and embed methods for oversight of project operational and financial benefit outcomes
  • Act as the subject matter expert and champion for industry best practises to ensure effective programme and project management and delivery.
  • Identify additional need for required expertise and coordinate accordingly with key stakeholders and business owners.





He kōrero mōu: About you


You will have excellent communication and time management skills, including a high level of problem solving and decision-making skills, using professional judgement.  You will also bring:


  • 8+ years demonstrable experience developing and delivering highly complex projects and programmes with multiple diverse stakeholders (change management experience preferred)
  • Demonstrable experience in developing and driving the delivery of a business transformation and or change program
  • Understanding of end-to-end processes of technical project management best practises and demonstrable use of methodology and experience to deliver project outcomes
  • Successful participation in strategic initiatives with multiple stakeholders, across multiple disciplines
  • Formal training and/or professional qualification in Project Portfolio, Programmes of work and Project management (Certified in a project management discipline such as CAPM, PMP, Prince 2, Agile or similar)
  • Proven financial aptitude in identifying, quantifying, and tracking of benefits
  • High levels of experience with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices (Microsoft Project, Asana, Jira, or similar)
