We are looking for a Procurement Advisor to join the Corporate Support & Procurement team. In this role you will manage end-to-end procurement activity at Eke Panuku and provide advice, support and expert guidance to business units achieve the best procurement outcomes in terms of value for money and sustainability. This role reports to the Manager of Procurement & Corporate Support. 
Day-to-day you could expect to:

  • Partner with business units to understand their needs and demonstrate the benefits of early and comprehensive procurement planning.
  • Lead end-to-end sourcing activity for complex medium/high value projects, ensuring each project is run in accordance with the relevant procurement processes, polices and guidelines.
  • Prepare documentation (Procurement Plan, RFx, Contract etc.) and facilitate evaluation and negotiation meetings to ensure transparency, fairness, and compliance.
  • Use knowledge, experience and investigative skills to analyse complex variation requests and advise on the best course of action.
  • Coach and mentor Business Units on end-to-end procurement process.
  • Provide specialist advice on relevant contracts and documentation required for each project after needs analysis.

To be successful in this role you will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience managing end-to-end procurement processes and have the ability to build strong relationships with a range of stakeholders. 


You will demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills. You will also have excellent time management skills and be able to work under pressure.


SAP experience is an advantage, however exposure to a large ERP systems is a must along with leading complex procurement processes within a large organisation.
