This is a unique opportunity to be a part of a small and focused team supporting a large-scale change programme in the Customer and Community Directorate. The Optimisation team has a clear mandate to implement a new directorate operating model that will improve delivery, support Auckland’s COVID-19 recovery efforts and streamline our processes.
This will include the following functions
- Collaborative design with teams across the Directorate
- Supporting the Directorate lead team in sound, evidence-based decision making
- Value stream mapping and process re-engineering
- Careful planning and implementation of multiple change workstreams
Essentially, you’ll be responsible for facilitating the design and implementation of our new ways of working and supporting our communities.
He kōrero mōu: About you
As an experienced Lean practitioner, you will be confident in facilitating the design of and helping implement a business and service delivery model across the Customer and Community Services departments and the Directorate value chain. You will understand the application of Lean methodologies to map current state and facilitate future state design as well as how to follow this design through implementation and support embedding.
