  • Supportive Resource Management: Balance team allocation and development to ensure both organisational and personal growth. 

  • Measurable Impact: Define and track key metrics, helping teams succeed with clarity and purpose.

You are a people-first leader with a passion for agile methodologies and talent development. With strong technical expertise and a proven ability to drive results, you lead with empathy and innovation. 

What you’ll bring: 

  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing large teams (30+ people). 

  • 10+ years of technical expertise in agile delivery. 

  • Strong mentoring and strategic planning skills. 

  • Commitment to diversity, inclusion, and Auckland Council’s values. 

You also embrace tikanga, with the ability to use basic te reo Māori in your communications. We value diverse perspectives.
