ServiceNow Platform Specialist

Join Auckland Council's Platform Engineering Practice as a ServiceNow Platform Specialist. You'll configure, support and enhance ServiceNow capabilities, working with stakeholders and delivery teams to improve service delivery, automate processes and contribute to the ongoing evolution of the platform.

 

 

He angitūtanga: The opportunity

 

Auckland Council’s Technology Services has an opportunity for a ServiceNow Platform Specialist to join the Platform Engineering team. As a ServiceNow Platform Specialist, you will be responsible for the development, administration, support, enhancement, and continuous improvement of Auckland Council's ServiceNow platform.

 

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, and service owners to design, configure, and optimise ServiceNow solutions that improve service delivery, automate business processes, and enhance user experience

 

You could expect to work on:

 

  • Administer, configure and enhance the ServiceNow platform

He kōrero mōu: About you

 

This role requires hands-on experience with ServiceNow. You will have experience in similar roles within large, complex, and potentially political organisations.

 

We will be looking for specific experience with the key role requirements:

 

  • 5+ year hands-on ServiceNow administration and platform development experience
  • Experience with:
    • ITSM
    • CMDB
    • Discovery
    • Service Catalogue
    • Flow Designer
    • Integration Hub
  • API integration experience
  • ITIL understanding
  • Experience in enterprise-scale environments
  • Ideally, you'll also have experience with:
    • ServiceNow CSA / CAD
    • Automation and scripting experience
    • Integration experience with Azure, SAP or MuleSoft
    • JavaScript development experience
