Auckland Council’s Parks & Community Service department has a permanent part time (32 hours) opportunity for enthusiastic and customer focussed person to join our team in Holiday Park Assistant role, at the stunning Martin's Bay Holiday Park. Please note this opprtunity may be scaled upto 40 hours during our peak season (summer).
The Park is open 7 days a week including public and school holidays, we are especially busy throughout the summer months, so having the ability to work flexible hours, weekends, public holidays, and additional shifts is required. The role also assists in support across the portfolio of our other holiday parks as and when required. We are looking for support across 4x days with one of those days being a weekend day.

We are seeking a hands-on, versatile, friendly person who is used to a busy work environment and who can assist with the day-to-day operation of the Holiday Park. You’ll be working closely with an amazing collaborative team to ensure our guests’ have a positive and memorable experience with us.

Day-to-day you could expect to work on:
- Administrative duties and welcoming guests
- General cleaning duties
- Ground and gardening maintenance
He kōrero mōu: About you
You will be confident with administration and reception duties and have experience with cash handling as well as an ability to use your initiative to resolve both operational and maintenance issues as they arise. We will be looking for people who have:
- Grounds maintenance or DIY experience
- Excellent communication & problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work rosters (including public holidays)
- Enthusiastic and approachable demeanour with a customer focussed approach
