Lifeguard:
Become a lifeguard and be the key to ensuring a safe and fun environment for our customers at our fantastic aquatic facilities. As a pool lifeguard, your keen observation skills, patience, and people-oriented nature will shine, allowing you to handle any situation with confidence and calmness. Take charge as you proactively supervise, interact positively with visitors, educate them on pool rules, and swiftly respond to any First Aid emergencies that may arise. And that's not all – you'll also play a vital role in keeping the pool and its surroundings clean and always inviting.

 

Learn To Swim:
Our leisure centres are at the heart of making Auckland the most active city in the world, and we want you to join us as a Learn to Swim Instructor in various Pool and Leisure Centres. No formal qualifications or experience required – all you need is a passion for working with our diverse community and making a real impact. Day-to-day, you'll be teaching people the art of swimming (don't worry, we'll show you how!), creating a fun and safe environment for our customers and visitors, and being an integral part of an amazing team serving the local community. Customer Support Representative:
Join us at our Pool and Leisure Centres, where we believe in making fantastic first impressions. As a Customer Support Representative, you'll be the friendly face that greets our diverse customer base, providing top-notch service both in person and over the phone. Your responsibility will be ensuring an effective and professional frontline experience, handling a wide range of inquiries with a smile. If you're ready to make a positive impact and engage with the community, this role is perfect for you.

 

Fitness Instructor:

You'll execute programs to meet industry and leisure standards, inspiring and motivating participants throughout. Utilize TRP interaction strategies to elevate customer engagement and satisfaction, while also evaluating and tracking participants' progress to ensure their journey is fulfilling and rewarding. Uphold equipment standards by routinely inspecting for faults, maintaining cleanliness, develop and deliver tailored training programs for individuals and groups. Stay updated by attending designated training sessions to uphold REPs registration, lead informative gym tours, guiding newcomers through our facilities, and participate in enriching community initiatives, extending our positive impact beyond our premises.

 

He kōrero mōu: About you 


Are you up for the challenge? As a Learn to Swim Instructor or Lifeguard, we want you to have some strong swimming skills. You'll need to pass the swimming test:

  • Swim 200m freestyle in less than 6 minutes
  • Swim 50m any stroke
  • Duck, dive and retrieve an object from the bottom of the pool
  • Tread water for 5 minutes

 

In addition to your swimming skills, we're looking for individuals with proven administration and communication skills, a track record of providing outstanding customer service, and excellent maturity and reliability. As you'll be working on a variable roster, access to a reliable method of transport is essential.
