Recreation Team Member | Birkenhead Pool and Leisure Centre
Birkenhead Pool and Leisure Centre is one of New Zealand’s leading Sports and Rec Facilities, as Recreation Team Member, you will play a key part to improve the customer experience for all Aucklanders that visit our Centre to another level.
You will help us deliver an exciting range of community fitness and school holiday programmes. This role will see you working with school students and community groups across the Auckland region.
In this frontline role, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering exceptional customer service to our customers and visitors
- Supporting with the delivery of a variety of exciting programmes for children aged 5-12
- Helping the centre maintain a caring, fun, and safe fitness and leisure environment
- Helping centre management with administration and operational duties
- Supporting with centre activities including sporting leagues and daily timetabled programmes
- Rock Wall Supervision
- Holiday Programme Supervision
This is a permanent part-time position of 8 hours per week, with opportunities for additional hours.
Work shift: Tuesday 12:45pm – 9:15pm

You will already be passionate about sports and recreation and be ready to step into a front-line customer service role.
You will need a First Aid Certificate; however, we can help you attain this if you do not have one.

Salary range: 28.95/hr (living wage)
