Here at Auckland Council, our leisure centres play a key role in achieving our goal of get Auckland the most active city in the world. And right now, we're looking for a Team Member to join our Customer Support team at Takapuna Pool and Leisure Centre


 
This role will see you working with community groups across the Auckland region. You will help us deliver an exciting customer service to our community groups.

In this frontline role, your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Delivering exceptional customer service to our customers and visitors during busy periods
  • Support a large, diverse fitness and aquatic membership base with enrolment and retention 
  • Completing day-to-day administration tasks and cash handling
  • Understanding all centre operations and assisting with relevant tasks such as bookings and appointments

 
This is a 16-hr per week permanent part-time position. Shifts below:

  • Monday 13.00pm-2130pm
  • Wednesday 05.00am-13.30pm

 

Please note that these shift arrangements will apply until the end of the year. Changes to the roster are anticipated next year and will be discussed in more detail during the interview process.

You will need a First Aid Certificate; however, we will help you obtain one if you do not already have it.
