Shift pattern: 20 hours per week, including one weekend day
We’re looking for two friendly, community‑minded Senior Library & Council Services Assistants to join our team delivering children’s and youth services within the Devonport–Takapuna Local Board area. Based primarily at Takapuna Library, you’ll help deliver engaging programmes, provide exceptional customer service, and support the smooth daily running of the library.

- Support and deliver engaging, meaningful programmes for tamariki and rangatahi
- Build strong relationships with whānau, schools, ECEs, and local community groups
- Provide warm, informed customer service across both library and council enquiries
- Help customers build digital confidence and navigate online services
- Contribute to safe, welcoming community spaces and uphold operational standards
- Step into daily operational leadership when required
