He angitūtanga: The opportunity
Our aim is to get Auckland the most active city in the world.  From sports leagues to preschool groups to school holiday activities, this is where it is all happening.
This is a hands-on role that will require you to plan and deliver our Out of School Care (OSCAR) programme, holiday programme and to ensure the highest possible standards of Health and Safety are met.

You will also be required to develop, plan, and facilitate a variety of recreational programmes for the Glenfield community. These include working with different age groups, coordinating user groups and sports leagues, implementing new ideas, and continuously improving our standards to meet our community promise of "getting active your way".

Part of an energetic and proactive team, you are a keen team player with a flexible approach and an ability to use your initiative to assist in our innovative and exciting programmes.

The ideal applicants will be passionate about sports and recreation and ideally possess or be working towards obtaining a relevant qualification within the field however, training will be provided for the right candidate. 


Exceptional customer service is a must. A full, clean manual driver's licence and first aid qualification are preferred. Skating experience with inline or roller skates would be a distinct advantage but is not required.

We have a permanent part-time position available working across a 7-day roster including weekends and school holidays.
