Here at Auckland Council, our leisure centres play a key role in achieving our goal to get Auckland the most active city in the world. And right now, we’re looking for a Water Polo Coach to join our team in Glenfield Pool & Leisure Centre to help achieve that goal!
 
This is a fantastic job where you don’t need any formal qualifications or experience – just a passion to work with our diverse community and make a difference!
 
He kōrero mōu: About you
 
If you do have a recognised qualification or previous experience as a Water Polo Coach, that’s great – but if you don’t that’s fine too as we’ll provide all of the training you need to do the job! You’ll need to complete your first aid certificate, have a love of water, a commitment to exceptional customer service, and an ability to communicate well with adults and children.

As a Water Polo Coach, you’ll enjoy free use of the facilities and a fun working environment. And to top it off, you’ll have the satisfaction of knowing the work you do is important and you’ll enjoy the satisfaction of helping our community learn to play Water Polo. 

 

Your schedule would include early morning shifts from Monday - Friday for a total of 8 hours per week.

Please note that the official title of this role is Learn to Swim Instructor.
