Situated in our Birkenhead Pool and Leisure Centre, our aim is to get "More Aucklanders, more active, more often" and our customers are constantly on the move.  From Outdoor Education programmes to Rock Climbing instruction and school holiday activity, this is where it is all happening.

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to deliver a variety of exciting programmes for children and support the centre activities including sporting leagues and daily timetabled programmes.

He kōrero mōu: About you

You enjoy interacting with a diverse range of people, who is comfortable in front of groups of people and displays high level of customer service. You’ll be an effective communicator with sound computer skills and ability to work proactively without supervision at times. You’ll have a keen interest in outdoor recreation activities and working with children.

Ideally, you’ll hold a First Aid Certificate, have an understanding of health and safety procedures and a Rock Climbing qualification.  

This is a casual opportunity, so you’ll need to work flexible hours as and when needed, including weekends, early starts and late finishes.
