He kōrero mōu: About you
You’re a natural communicator who understands how to build genuine and strategic, value-based relationships. You’ve developed your career in off-shore and/or internationally focused roles and have a handle on the investment and financial competency this role requires, with an international lens. With this experience in hand and a genuine passion for your city, you’re ready to make a difference for Auckland.

This role will require you to create, develop and manage international relationships across a broad range of industries and is not sector specific. Your cultural awareness, high emotional intelligence and ability to work autonomously and proactively will be leveraged highly in this role. You will also directly work with international stakeholders when they visit our shores.

Internally, you’ll be entrusted to provide the organisation with specialist advice and support.  You will build and maintain strong and effective internal relationships, ensuring TAU’s successful strategic outcomes are delivered in an international context with a truly collaborative approach.

A big picture thinker, you can spot an opportunity from the smallest of interactions and understand the complexities and processes involved in working with a large, public organisation, to turn these opportunities into reality. Your broad experience across a variety of disciplines has helped you develop strong commercial and political nous.

Ngā āhuatanga kei a mātou: What we offer
