We're looking for a Facilities Analyst to join our Property Portfolio team. In this role, you'll combine data analysis, systems expertise and stakeholder engagement to support the effective management of council-owned facilities and property assets. You'll play a key role in ensuring high-quality facilities and asset information is available to support operational decision-making, long-term planning and continuous improvement initiatives.

Working closely with the Business Insights Manager and stakeholders across Auckland Council, you'll help drive better outcomes through robust reporting, accurate data management and process enhancement.

Day-to-day you could expect to be:

•    Maintaining and improving facilities, asset and property data across SAP, GIS and related systems
•    Delivering meaningful reporting and analysis to support operational, financial and strategic decision-making
•    Identifying opportunities for process improvements and driving initiatives that enhance efficiency and data quality
•    Providing systems guidance and training to users across the business
•    Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and acting as a trusted source of information and insights

You'll be a naturally curious and solutions-focused analyst who enjoys turning data into actionable insights. Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders, you'll bring strong relationship-building skills alongside a passion for improving systems and processes.

To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:

•    2-3 years’ experience within a property related environment 
•    Systems experience working with SAP RE and PM modules
•    Intermediate level (or higher) Excel & Power BI skills
•    Demonstratable experience of analytical skills & data management
•    An understanding of Geospatial systems

Just as importantly, you'll be proactive, adaptable and confident working across multiple systems and priorities, always looking for opportunities to improve processes, enhance data quality and support better outcomes for Auckland Council and the communities we serve.
