He angitūtanga: The opportunity

Joining Lloyd Elsmore Active Recreation Business team, as a Customer Engagement Advisor you will be promoting sales and developing retention-based activities that will connect us with more Aucklanders and inspire them to get active.

Your main responsibilities will include, taking a lead role in actively promoting sales and design retention-based activities for our leisure centres, engaging with customers over the phone and face-to-face to support with inquiries and feedback, designing, implementing and marketing our gym membership programmes and offers.

You will collect and analyse data on customer behaviour and retention, explore areas for potential revenue growth; and conduct current and future state assessments on customer activity to inform our team planning and help create proactive solutions for customers.

He kōrero mōu: About you

You’ll have a proven track record in sales and membership retention, and in delivering great customer service. A self-motivated solution seeker, you’ll have exceptional written and verbal communication, and be confident engaging with customers to support with a range of inquiries. Ideally, you’ll also have some exposure to working with customer engagement research and analysing data on customer behaviour and retention.

You’ll be confident in the development of sales strategies, and it goes without saying that you’ll have a passion for the fitness and recreation industry (experience working in this sector is a bonus, but not essential). You’ll also be flexible and available to work weekends where required, and ideally hold a full New Zealand driver’s license.
