He angitūtanga: The opportunity

This role provides a unique opportunity to be an integral part of Auckland Council's Electronic Document- and Records Management Systems (EDRMS) team. The EDRMS team currently supports OpenText Content Server for Auckland Council. In addition to these systems the team also supports Auckland Council’s scanning and digitisation solution utilising Kofax.

 

Gathering requirements and deploying solutions form a major part of the job along with testing, user support and training, and of course problem resolution. A fundamental understanding of Records Management and its relationship to EDRMS systems is essential. There is also substantial integration with external systems (for instance SAP) so being able to troubleshoot across multiple systems is necessary.

You are a self-starter who can work well independently or as part of a group. You are a customer-focused person with strong OpenText Content Server and xECM administration and support experience as well as the ability to deploy new solutions. Additionally, any experience with scanning and digitisation for document management will be advantageous. It is essential that you have the ability to build integral relationships with both internal and external teams and support providers, and that you can communicate efficiently with users across Council and other stakeholders.
