Customer Services Representative- Weighbridge - Casual

We strive to be at the forefront of best practice waste management across Australasia and we are constantly looking for innovative ways to improve services and reduce waste going to landfill. To help us on this journey, we are looking for a Casual – Weighbridge Operations for a customer service, to join our team and contribute towards Auckland Council's Waste Management and Minimisation Plan! You will be located at West Auckland.
 

Reporting to the Weighbridge Team Leader, as a customer services representative, you will be assisting with the smooth running and daily operation of the Weighbridge at Refuse Transfer Station by providing support services, which include reception administration and financial transaction duties. A level of customer service is essential to contributing to the overall efficiency of the Solid Waste Business unit. Building good relationships and work collaboratively with customers and contract partners. You will ensure effective and efficient delivery of all existing and new waste management customers using our facilities.

 

He kōrero mōu: About you

 

You are a person who is Honest/trustworthy and reliable individual who is passionate about delivering excellent Customer service. You will have strong experience in a customer service environment or similar operational environment. In these roles, you would have dealt with customers and challenging problems, and developed collaborative relationships with customers. It would be advantageous if you have a sound all round office experience in general clerical, accounts and customer service. A technical understanding and working knowledge of the Waste Minimisation Act 2008, Solid Waste bylaws and other relevant legislation as well experience will also be helpful.  As this role will require you to be available on call on 7 days operations Monday to Sunday, you will need to have reliable form of transport due to no accessible public transport. So, you will need a valid and clean full driver's licence.
