He kōrero mōu: The Opportunity


We are seeking a Venue Operations Manager to join the team.  Reporting to the Manager Operations, you will be leading a team of coordinators and providing strategic venue management for all Art Entertainment & Events venues and surrounding areas in conjunction with TAU staff and key precinct stakeholders.

Our ideal applicant comes equipped with around 5 years’ experience in a senior operations position.  You will have people management and team leadership experience. 


As a team, we are driven to achieve the best outcomes, so our successful applicant will have demonstrated this in their current/previous role(s). You will be highly organised, skilled at planning and prioritising tasks and have proven experience in conflict resolution.

Personal resilience is a must – we work in a highly collaborative, creative industry with a huge number of stakeholders, coordination and organisation involved, so someone who can work well and maintain their composure in pressured situations will be ideally suited for this role.

Your excellent interpersonal and relationship skills will ensure you are able to work effectively with both external and internal stakeholders, managing these crucial relationships to ensure overall success. You will be tech savvy - proficient in the use of Microsoft Suite applications such as Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc,


You must have a full and clean drivers license.
