He angitūtanga: The opportunity

 

We are seeking an energetic and pragmatic leader to lead and manage a team of specialists providing expert technical input into the complex and challenging subdivision component of Resource Consents across the Auckland central region.

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring effective, efficient, and proportionate specialist subdivision input into the resource consent process and the processing of 223 and 224(c) applications, in accordance with statutory requirements and Auckland Council policies, plans and procedures.

 

He kōrero mōu: About you

 

An important part of the role is to coach and mentor people focusing on building capacity within the team to meet the challenges of an increasing and diverse work programme. You will have a customer focus and an ability to develop and maintain quality relationships with multiple stakeholders working collaboratively across council and proactively contribute to team, unit, and department responses to operational and strategic issues as they arise.

 

In terms of your experience, we need someone with a background in Resource Management, a sound knowledge of the subdivision consenting process and someone who has been and enjoys being a people leader.
