The Auckland-wide Unit within the Plans and Places department is responsible for the ongoing development of the Auckland Unitary Plan with a particular focus on region wide matters. Additional responsibilities include input into reforms of national direction and the evaluation of the performance of the Auckland Unitary Plan.
