Team Leader Curatorial Services

Are you passionate and excited about working with documentary heritage; shaping, curating and sharing historical and cultural narratives; caring for taonga and working collaboratively on new ways of curating precious collections?

We invite you to be part of something unique at Auckland Council Libraries, leading a team of curators responsible for our research and heritage collections.  These collections are hugely significant in the national documentary landscape of Aotearoa New Zealand and Tāmaki Makaurau in particular.  Our special collections date back to the foundational collection donated by Sir George Grey in 1887 - an incredible example of Auckland's rich cultural heritage. These collections have continued to grow as we collect for current and future generations of Aucklanders.
