He angitūtanga: The Opportunity
 

As a Solution Architect at Tātaki Auckland Unlimited, your primary responsibility will be to drive strategic objectives through innovative technology design practices, utilizing solution architecture frameworks across a range of digital and technology projects and services.

 

Your focus will be on:

 

  • Addressing business challenges by designing secure, scalable, and efficient digital and technology solutions that align with business needs.
  • Collaborate with various teams to assess project requirements, propose innovative solutions, and ensure that technology strategies support business goals.
  • Work closely with the Digital team to co-design technical solutions that enhance business performance.
  • Translate business and project requirements into detailed architectural and solution designs, often recommending off-the-shelf integrations for optimal outcomes.
  • Review projects and ensure adherence with architectural standards, documenting architectures, ensuring compliance with SDLC processes, and optimizing solution architecture practices.
  • Provide recommendations for continuous process improvements and champion enterprise-level solution designs, to ensure the quality and operational efficiency of our digital services.
  • Be a liaison with stakeholders and oversee cyber security practices, assessments and process across the technology portfolio

He kōrero mōu: About You
 

We are ideally looking for a candidate with a minimum of 7 years’ experience in solution or domain areas such as digital, e-commerce, applications, data, cybersecurity, and infrastructure. If you have a proven track record in managing complex technical landscapes, ensuring seamless integration across diverse platforms and systems we are keen to hear from you.

 

Here are some of the key skills/ experiences we are looking for:

 

  • Expertise in end-to-end or enterprise architecture is essential, with a strong understanding of both on-premises and cloud environments, including platforms like Azure, AWS, and SaaS/PaaS solutions.
  • Architecture modeling (UML, SysML), tools like Visio, and frameworks such as TOGAF and SOA.
  • Experience with integration patterns, API gateways, and protocols (SOAP, REST, JSON), along with programming languages like SQL, Python, and Java, is required.
  • Knowledge of web applications, digital platforms (Salesforce CRM, ERP), and data lakes (Azure) is advantageous.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required
  • Certifications or knowledge in PCI, GDPR, and architecture frameworks is a bonus!
