Our Financial Advisory department has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Management Accountant to join the team. This role is responsible for supporting the Manager Financial Planning and Reporting to lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, month-end close, management reporting data and reports

 

The role also helps to manage the operating savings target programme, including planning, monitoring and reporting.

 You can expect to work on:

  • Supporting the management and coordination of financial management advice and regular reporting to the business units.
  • Establishing and ensuring effective and consistent modelling, financial planning, and forecasting processes across departments and teams and identify and implement best practices in these processes.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of ERP and other relevant financial systems and processes

He kōrero mōu: About you

 

You will bring strong finance experience in a large and complex organisation as well as strong financial accounting knowledge and systems experience.

 

We will also be looking for:

  • Demonstrated skills and experience in financial planning and budgeting, management accounting and reporting.
  • Strong planning and project management skills and understanding of workflow and process management.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships within the department, across the Group Finance directorate and the wider organisation.
