Our Legal Services team has an exciting opportunity for 2 Senior Legal Administrators to join the team. This role will see you provide professional administrative support to the Legal Services group to ensure excellent business performance and minimise council’s exposure to legal risk.


The Legal Services team is made up of 60+ lawyers and legal executives who provide legal advice and support across all of Council’s business units as well as CCOs. In addition, the team works with a panel of external legal providers. The work is varied and interesting.

He kōrero mōu: About you


You will have excellent organisation and ICT skills, the ability to work independently when required as well as being a team player. An administrative superstar, you will provide a wide range of admin support across the team, supporting transactions and litigation, handling finance processes, data management, preparing reports, filing and managing documents, performing specialist legal functions as required including accepting responsibility for researching, performance and outcomes for projects and tasks. 


You will preferably have a relevant qualification and a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a legal secretary or in a senior administration support role. 


An eye for detail, a commitment to accuracy with the ability to analyse and interpret information and an aptitude and commitment to ICT systems and supporting team members in achieving positive outcomes is desirable.
