He angitūtanga: The opportunity 

 

Are you ready to shape the future of learning at Auckland Council? As our new Senior Learning Experience Designer, you'll provide expert technical services and develop innovative solutions that address learning and organizational development (L&OD) challenges, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. You'll lead the design and implementation of cutting-edge learning solutions—from needs analysis to implementation and evaluation—working closely with learners, subject matter experts, and suppliers. You will play a critical role in designing and implementing programs, OD initiatives, and capability frameworks that strengthen organizational culture, engagement, leadership, and performance. 

 

You will also support the strategic planning and prioritization of high-impact L&OD projects, building effective relationships with stakeholders to ensure targeted and impactful delivery. This role also involves facilitating workshops, including "train the trainer" sessions, while continuously updating skills to foster innovation within L&OD services. He kōrero mōu: About you 

 

Our ideal candidate will have a delivery-focused, inclusive, and adaptable mindset with excellent communication skills. You should have at least 5 years of experience in Learning and Development, including instructional design, and hold a relevant bachelor's degree in fields such as Business, Human Resource Management, Organisational Development, Communication, or an equivalent area in Learning & Development.
