Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for driving transformation and delivering impactful business insights? Our Group Shared Services Program Directorate is hiring for a Senior Business Analyst to support the design and implementation of a group shared services model across our diverse and dynamic organisation.
You will play a key role in shaping the future of shared services at Auckland Council. Working across functions such as HR, Technology, Procurement, Data, Customer & Digital, and Corporate Services, you will:
- Analyse and map current business processes
- Engage stakeholders to gather and document requirements
- Develop service catalogues and SLAs
- Conduct cost-benefit and performance analyses
- Lead benefits tracking and support business case development
- Facilitate workshops and drive consensus on solutions

We are looking for someone who’s been there, done that—especially when it comes to large-scale transformation. As such if you have the following skills and experience we would love to hear from you:
- Proven experience in large-scale transformation and complex change initiatives
- Strong background in business analysis within shared services or enterprise environments
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, especially at executive and cross-functional levels
- Proficiency in process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart) and Microsoft Office Suite
- A tertiary qualification in business, finance, information systems, or a related field
